Congratulations and $75 checks were presented to the Heritage Center art show winners on behalf of sponsor Hills Bank and Trust Company. The Art by Your Friends and Neighbors exhibit marked its 18th anniversary in 2019. More than 750 visitors cast ballots for their favorites among the 60 pieces by local artists. Read More»“Through the Needle’s Eye” To Be Viewed in Marion
The Marion Heritage Center & Museum and the Cedar Valley Chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America, Inc. (EGA) will co-sponsor the 20th national exhibit, Through the Needle’s Eye.
This traveling juried exhibit will be on display from Saturday, August 6 to October 8 at the Marion Heritage Center and will feature more than 70 embroidered works of the highest quality design and craftsmanship from artists across the United States and Canada. Catalogs of the exhibit will be available at the Center for $25.

2015 Art by Your Friends & Neighbors Winners
Congratulations, and a check for $75, was presented last week to the Heritage Center’s “Friends and Neighbors” art show winners on behalf of the sponsor, Hills Bank and Trust Company. Jane Woodhouse finished in first place, followed by newcomer, Judy Hansen. Gae Sharp Richardson and Barb Prall tied for third in the “People’s Choice” voting.
