Marion Heritage Center making progress on damage repairs

Our main exhibit area is currently closed due to derecho damage reconstruction. Please call for an appointment if you’d like to view “Communication by Mail” and a few other items from our permanent collection in the lower level lobby.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 safety protocols, only staff are allowed to access the Reference Library at this time.

General admission is FREE, courtesy of a grant from the McIntyre Foundation.

Additional donations are gladly accepted! Learn more on our support page.

Tickets for special exhibits will be listed here when available.

Parking & Entry

Free parking is available on streets adjacent to the Heritage Center and throughout uptown Marion.

Enter the Museum on the North/6th Avenue side of the building.

The Museum is wheelchair accessible.

Bus Routes: Use bus stop #1295 on Route 20. Visit Cedar Rapids Transit for detailed routes and schedules.
