Sponsorships

Sponsorship donations may be directed to the donor’s area of interest and naming opportunities or other sponsorship packages are also available.

Endowment

The Marion Historical Society Endowment was established in 2016. Funds from the Endowment are used to help cover long-term operating expenses of the Marion Heritage Center & Museum. There are several ways to contribute to the Endowment: 

  • Direct contributions of cash
  • Donate securities or other property suitable for conversion into assets of the fund
  • Designate the Endowment as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or annuity
  • Make a Qualifying Charitable Distribution from an IRA or retirement plan

Membership

Your annual membership contribution helps the Heritage Center bring its collection of historic objects, images, and documents to life through exhibits, programs and events.

The Marion Historical Society is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Gifts are eligible to be counted as charitable tax deductions as allowed by law. Please consult a tax adviser for specific advice on the deductibility of your charitable contributions.
