Board of Directors

The Marion Heritage Center serves as a community center for educational programs, historical displays, art exhibits, and cultural events. The facility is managed by the Marion Historical Society which was formed to discover, interpret and preserve Marion’s unique history and to provide activities for the community and surrounding area.



The Marion Historical Society is a membership organization that serves to engage the public in the history, traditions, resources and on-going preservation of the Heritage Center Museum for the enrichment of the community.


Board of Directors

The Marion Historical Society board of directors meets at the Marion Heritage Center on the fourth Thursday of each month (no December meeting) at 3:30 p.m. (Check the events calendar for meeting date and time changes.) Directors serve 3-year terms with positions accepted at the July annual meeting. All meetings are open to the public.
